You're reading this because you're probably new to the site, and want to check out this church you've heard about -- do a little advance investigation before showing up in person. I do the same thing myself when I visit churches I've never been to. I want to make sure that when I show up, I know what to expect.
So let me put you at ease by telling you that our motto is, "Come as you are." You don't have to know anything about Christianity or the Bible in order to feel at home here. We believe that all people matter to God, so they matter to us. Our doors and hearts are open to people from all backgrounds regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

We're about helping you get more out of life by focusing your perspective on God, strengthening your spirit, deepening your relationships, and enlarging your heart with faith and hope. It doesn't matter who you are, or what you do for a living, we all need to pause from the daily grind and static to remember that there's something greater than what's temporary and superficial.
There are a lot of reasons people have for not going to church. Sometimes they're valid, but sometimes not. Until you try Southpoint, you'll never know what you may be missing. Here, it's not about ritualistic religion -- it's meaningful, spiritually moving, and helpful practically.
What if it's all true, and you never took the time to find out? Come see for yourself the difference God can make in your life.
We're striving to be the kind of church described in the Bible -- with relevant teaching, authentic worship, sincere friendships, heartfelt prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.
But let me warn you: we don't pretend to have it all together. We're just regular people in the process of discovering God's purposes for our lives and learning to live a life like Jesus talked about.
So let me give you a little direction for the website:
- If you want to know what to expect when you show up, then click on the Worship Services page. There's plenty of new people every weekend who show up for the first time. We try to make it a time for connecting with God more deeply in an atmosphere of community. That's why we do what we can to make it interesting, understandable, and contemporary. You'll find a safe place to explore spirituality, and an easy place to hear some powerful principles that can change your life.
- If you need to get started on your journey in discovering who Jesus is, go to the Resources page and click on one of the links there. I believe in Him you'll find the love, peace, hope and joy you've been looking for. If you're ready to make that faith step and follow Christ, go to the Salvation page.
- If you'd like to experience a more personal sense of community, check out the various pages under the "Get Connected" heading, where you can get connected to a group that looks interesting to you.
- If you'd like to be of service, go to the "Make A Difference" heading and click on one of the options there. You don't have to be a church member to serve in most areas. In fact, you can try a "First Serve" opportunity -- a one-time, no-strings-attached experiment to see if it's a good match for you.
I believe at Southpoint you'll find spiritual encouragement, direction for making wise decisions, support for instilling good values, and meaningful opportunities to be of service to God and our neighbors.
So whether you're spiritually searching, doubting, hurting, or stretching, come as you are and find a home here.
