Brett is Southpoint's founding minister, and served in ministries in Ohio and Indiana since 1984.  His degrees in Bible, Ministry and Theology (B.A., M.A., M.Div.) come from Cincinnati Christian University. From Indianapolis, Brett worked as a Christian radio announcer, met his wife, Penny, in their church youth group (also a CCU graduate, and a Southpoint Administrative Assistant), and married in 1985.     Ron came on staff in 2004 after 22 years as the Director of New Churches of Christ Evangelism (thus helping to start Southpoint). Ron worked in sales with Hills Bros. Coffee, studied at Western Michigan University, Great Lakes Christian College and Trinity College of the Bible (BRE), and has ministered in New York, Connecticut as well as his native Michigan.     Bob, and his wife, Rene, who is a counselor, have been married since 1986, and Southpoint members since 2000. Bob came on staff in September, 2005, after retiring from the corporate world. He's been a General Manager for K-Mart, responsible for opening and managing K-Mart Super Centers, and a District Manager for Wal-Mart. He has served in previous churches as an elder, and both as interim and associate ministers. In Illinois, he was involved in a number of charitable works.     Joe has been a part of Southpoint since its first Sunday. He serves as a Pastor (Elder), and came on staff in 2004 after retiring from Ford Motor Co. Detroit metro locals, he and wife, Antoinette (married 1975), have two grown daughters and one granddaughter. Email Joe.

    A graduate of Madonna University (BS), Lisa previously served as a children's music director, church pianist/organist, and children's piano teacher, before serving in children's ministry at Southpoint. She came on staff in 2004. Doug and Lisa have two children, Derek and Hayley. Email Lisa.

    A North Carolina native, Mark & Cindy joined Southpoint in 2006. He graduated from Kentucky Christian College (BS) majoring in Bible Education, emphasis in Youth. Mark has served in two previous youth ministries. Their children are Curran, Gage and Aidan. Email Mark.

    A Michiganian with a double major in Music and Theology from Great Lakes Christian College (BS), and an Associate Ministry in the U.P., Chad came to Southpoint in 2006 with wife, Deanna and sons, Carter and Tanner. Email Chad.

    Libbie served as a worship leader for over 4 years before coming to Southpoint. In 2005 she came on staff part-time to direct the Praise Team. A graduate of Spring Arbor College (BA), she has a corporate background, as well as professional experience as an author and songwriter.
