To share your food with those in need:
In today's economy many families are finding it
necessary to turn to the Southpoint Open Arms Food
Pantry. Our ministry suppliments basic food
requirements for families, just like yours, who may
need a helping hand with Christian love,
prayers,discretion and confidentiality.
It would be a wonderful thing if everyone, who is
blessed with enough food, would once or twice a
month share a couple items of non-perishable food
with the families who are in need of your
blessing. Just once a month your combined
donations should bring in 2,000 items a month. The
Open Arms Food Pantry presently gives around 2,300
to 2,600 food items a month and our need is rising
every month. If you can share any non-perishable
food, please leave your gifts in the gray plastic
bins located near each entrance of the church. A
list of what we need may be picked up at the Welcome
Center. Thank you all from all who will receive your
blessings.

If you have a loved one in the military in a war zone,
get a form in front of the Benevolence Room in the north
hallway, fill out their information on one of our "need" forms,
and drop it in the box there. Our ministry would like to hold
your family up in prayer and send an encouragement card monthly.
If you're a widow or widower and have not yet participated in our events, and would like to receive more information, or be put onto our mailing list, call Sheila Michalec or call the church office
(734-675-7575). |
